Atlanta, GA, February 15, 2012 – First Century Energy announces the completed installation of the largest solar array in Gwinnett County’s thriving commercial real estate market.
This 175kW grid-tied, rooftop array was installed on a newly renovated, freestanding office/showroom building managed by CORO Realty Advisors, LLC in Norcross, GA. CORO is selling the solar power to Georgia Power pursuant to the utility’s SP-1 Solar tariff, creating additional operating income for the property. The project is one of the largest solar projects in Georgia, and demonstrates CORO’s leadership in sustainable development and property management.

The project will generate more than 5.4 million kilowatt hours over its 25-year life, equal to powering 20 homes per year, saving 3 million gallons of water or replacing 1200 acres of trees.
The project features Suniva® ART 245-60 solar modules, two Solectria PVI 82 kW Commercial Inverters, Panel Claw Grizzly Bear® FR Gen II Solar Mounting Solution, and DECK solar monitoring system.
